Goals of ENL

The MSD Lawrence Township Schools ENL program is committed to educational advancement of its ENL students both academically and socially in English, while honoring their rich heritage of language and culture.
  1. To teach English for specific academic purposes so language can be applied to academic contexts to maximize student achievement.
  2. To provide opportunities for students to grow socially through their home school and community.
  3. To enable students to construct meaning through appropriate instructional strategies.
  4. To provide administrators, teachers and staff with innovative professional development to maximize student achievement.
